WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced DevOps Architect who would like to lead the implementation of DevOps principles and take responsibility for the development of cloud architecture in Bekey. Since you will be spending a lot of time working together, it might as well be fun doing so. Contributing to a pleasant and relaxing environment is key at Bekey (no pun intended). Tasks and responsibilities:
· Design of Cloud architecture and associated technologies
· Development of DevOps strategies, principles, automation, configuration and tools
· Introduction of governance structure and Change Management within Cloud
· Create an overview and optimize Cost Management in Cloud
· Responsible for the implementation of security in both Cloud and applications
· Maintain Docker containers solution
· Ensure Bekey servers' stability using a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services with AWS services for modernization
· Monitor and resolve the incidents happening due to internal or third-party services disruptions
· Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for an existing working environment
Role requirements:
You have several years of professional experience within DevOps/Cloud Architecture Engineering. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and eager to develop and maintain agile and reliable DevOps tools and processes. You have a deep understanding to always navigate between the immediate impact of a feature and the technical debt incurred by its implementation. You are able to carefully weigh the pros and cons and make a choice in favor of the company and the team - and experience with any of the following:
· Solid, hands-on experience building and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS
· Experience with infrastructure-as-code through tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform
· Solid skills in coding/scripting (Python, Bash)
· Experience in the development and optimization of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
· Familiar with Configuration Management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible
· Knowledge of Software versioning tools: Git/Gitlab/Bitbucket
· Good knowledge of container technology
· Processes/Tools: Scrum, JIRA, Confluence
· You can understand and translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions
