WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an Embedded developer with a curious mindset and strong social skills. Since you will be spending a lot of time working together, it might as well be fun doing so. Tasks and responsibilities:

· Write and maintain firmware specifications and firmware, including tests and test-procedures

· Actively participate in the creation of document requirements and design specifications in accordance with company standards

· Give input and suggest improvements to company practices and tools

· Participate in build-up and maintenance of software structures and libraries

· Research, design and develop new firmware features for various Bekey products

· Cooperate with Product Owners and Product Managers on discovering opportunities and defining features

· Cooperate with the rest of the development team during investigations related to e.g., support requests


Role requirements:

You have a Bachelor's degree in e.g. Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience.


Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and strong experience in embedded software development and the interaction between hardware and software in embedded systems. Have a natural interest in the latest trends within (embedded) software development,

wireless communication and hardware manufacturing - and experience with any of the following technologies:


· nRF51 microcontroller series

· Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++.

· Version control systems such as Git.

· Wireless protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Zigbee is a plus.

· Processes/Tools: Scrum, JIRA, Confluence
