What you´ll be doing…
Together with the business and the other architecture colleagues you will be leading a team of skilled and passionate developers in designing, developing and maintaining responsive, user-friendly and scalable frontend experiences. This is not a pure execution job where everything is already defined - it's an opportunity to create the requirements together with colleagues from Product, Marketing, Finance and have a say in how the future looks like
Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team
Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard
Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible
Analyzing existing operations, scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements
Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments
Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required
Given they are a dynamic company in a competitive market - they are launching new products often, so we expect you to thrive at the intersection between technology and customer excellency
Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns
Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes
Working with a variety of intriguing products, since their frontend is fluid and written in React.js and a few in knockout (to be transformed to React). Opportunities and product examples would be: Company storefront, order flow & control panel
Build, test and document these awesome applications, which are used by the customers every single day
Interact closely with stakeholders such as Product, UX & Design, other Software Developers and System Engineers to continuously improve the throughput, process and product with the end customer in mind
Who you are…
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Frontend Visionary passionate about creating engaging, interactive user experiences but as well excited about mentoring junior colleagues on their growth journey
You are pro-active, curious, self-motivated and a motivator
You feel at home with React and have professional experience working with it
You have an agile way of thinking, not just in code, but in the process as well: Knowing how to work with Epics, the breakdown into User Stories, and splitting these up into technical execution tasks is a big plus
You enjoy a fast-paced environment, where you can produce end-to-end quality code and be proud of the things that you deliver
You are eager to deliver and understand that reaching goals will improve the lives of over a million customers
